Curtain wall — engineering and installation notes
A curtain wall is a separate framed skin that takes self-weight, wind, and seismic load back to the primary structure.
Stick systems are assembled on site. Unitized panels are factory-built and set at height. Water, air, and movement must be designed into the detail.
